since 2016 we’ve photographed 300+ weddings together and had a weekend long wedding of our own that featured a talent show, a piñata of our faces instead of cake and zero traditions we didn't actually care about.

we believe your wedding should feel like you. not like a pinterest board or a checklist of “you really shoulds” or “but you have tos”. we're here for the couples who want to break the rules, extend the weekend, throw an even cooler after-party or skip the bouquet toss entirely and do karaoke instead.

we’ve photographed more than 300 weddings and that’s good news for you. the day can run late, the weather can turn, your family can have opinions, and you get to stay in it while we quietly adjust.
we met working at one of those big wedding studios and were tossed into the industry working 70+ weddings a year. it was way too many, and we both wanted a calmer, closer way to work with couples. after we worked one wedding together, i moved into joe’s place two weeks later (crazy, but I was right about him), and in 2016 we started kamp.
since then we’ve shot garden ceremonies at Wave Hill, Hudson Valley weddings at The Roundhouse in Beacon and upstate celebrations at Hayfield in the Catskills, parties at The Bell House and Rule of Thirds in Brooklyn. our work has also taken us to Block Island, Maine, Napa Valley, Austin, Texas, Yosemite, the Greek island of Milos and, of course, a few camp weddings in New Hampshire. in 2023 we started Kamp Adventures, our elopement photography studio, for couples who want to keep it small.
splitting our time between chic city celebrations, weekend-long upstate weddings and intimate elopements in epic places keeps us fresh and creative. the city taught us to move fast and find good light anywhere. upstate weekends taught us to know your people before the ceremony even starts. elopements, where it’s just two people, a trail and no coordinator, taught us to keep a whole day on track ourselves. whatever your wedding needs, we’ve got you.
here’s what that looks like on your day:
when hair and makeup runs an hour late, we’ll have the timeline back on track before the ceremony without you ever feeling rushed. we notice when family is wearing you out, and that’s usually when we pull you away for “a few photos” so you can breathe. we’ve shot weddings through blizzards, heat waves, hurricanes and ahem a pandemic. like the post office, we show up rain or shine, with a backup plan that still gets you incredible photos.
we've been told we're "a calming presence" more times than we can count, and honestly that might be our favorite compliment. your wedding day is going to fly by + we want you to be there for it, not spending half of it posing for photos. you can focus on being present + actually enjoying your wedding,
