We first met Heather & Dave on an exceptionally cold & windy day at a coffee shop in NYC and we knew right away that we wanted to be their wedding photographers. Their Brooklyn music venue wedding plans sounded awesome, they had a super cute pup right around the same age as ours, and we just really, truly liked them as people.
Shortly after, we met up with them again at their apartment in Park Slope for their engagement shoot. After an afternoon of walking around Prospect Park, playing with their pup, Carson and naturally talking about pizza, we fell even harder for these two.
Their July wedding was a perfect summer day in Brooklyn, warm, but not too hot. Heather had her hair & makeup done on her Park Slope back porch - which was amazing. They had a perfect first look across the street from the Bell House, and since we already did photos at Prospect Park for their Engagement, we were able to take full advantage of the entire block that the Bell House is on. City weddings are some of the most interesting to photograph, from graffitti to vibrant garage doors and bike's everywhere. Which was convinient because bikes were part of their theme!
After a special green room Ketubah signing, they wed on stage with their families (and Carson) beside them. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the Vegan catering that was BEYOND delicious from _____ and danced the night away to the live band. (I mean, how could you not have a live band at a wedding in a music venue?)
Another perfect Brooklyn Wedding for Kamp Weddings to photograph and another 2 people that we are just so happy to have met!
